Bayesian Evolutionary Analysis Sampling Trees

The BEAST package contains the following utilities and components:

The MCMC analysis program.

A graphical user interface for creating input files to run BEAST.

A program to combine log and tree files from multiple runs of BEAST

A program for summarizing the information in a sample of trees produced by BEAST

A program for analyzing the information in a sample of trees produced by BEAST

Additional Software for use with BEAST

BEASTGen v1.0 has been released

BEAGLE Library

BEAGLE is a high-performance library that can perform the core calculations at the heart of most Bayesian and Maximum Likelihood phylogenetics package. It can make use of highly-parallel processors such as those in 3D graphics boards found in many PCs. This is an optional install but will improve BEAST performance in most cases and is required for certain advanced analyses.

BEAGLE v2.1 has been released

The following programs are distributed separately but can be used in conjunction with BEAST

A program for analysing results from Bayesian MCMC programs such as BEAST & MrBayes

Tracer v1.6 has been released

A program for viewing trees including summary information produced by TreeAnnotator

FigTree v1.4.2 has been released
