Help with binary (restriction site)
Hi Beast-users, I have a simple model of linguistic evolution with binary sites and some missing data (e.g., 0110111??1...). I'd like to do a relaxed clock model with gamma distributed rates but am having trouble getting the .xml that I am tweaking to run. Does anyone happen to have something similar that I can use as a template? Thanks for any help... Rob
Combined analyses
Hi beast users,
I am trying to perform a combined analysis of two distintic datasets. MrModelTest selected different models for each dataset. Bayesian analyses in MrBayes allow to carry out this combined analysis under different substitions models for the datasets. Is is possible in Beast?
Thanks,
Luciano Paganucci de Queiroz
help using fixed tree
Hello all,
I have read the page on how to used a fixed tree, and I have made the newick modifications to the xml file, and commented out the coalescent generation of a starting tree, but I still get an error.
So, I need help with this. Also, do I have to start with a tree having branch lengths or can I just put in a topology?
will this be considered the starting tree, or a fixed topology? I would like to know how to do both.
thanks in advance,
Chris
HELP
Hi, I am trying to fix a tree with branch lenghts, but I dont know how do I tell BEAUti that it is in units of subst per site and not ages, cause Id like to fix a molecular clock on it thanks
